The importance of continual faith and leadership development and formation is key to all we do at HMRC. This is evidenced in our four publications as well as throughout our digital presence.
We work for and with the Claretian Missionaries—a congregation of Catholic priests and brothers founded in 1849 and established in the U.S. in 1902—with an incredibly strong commitment to Latino neighborhoods challenged by poverty.
The Claretians started HMRC in 1990—long before Latinos were a political or demographic force in this country. They were concerned about the scarcity of resources available to engage people as we all work to integrate our faith in our daily lives. The Claretians set the foundation for HMRC as we work to help each other move forward through the grace of God.
